About the role#
This internship is designed for students currently enrolled in college who want to learn the basics of campus ministry. You will work with the team at Marian University to grow in your spiritual understanding, biblical knowledge, and leadership skills. This role is a chance to discern a potential call to ministry while serving as a representative of the organization.
What you'll do#
- Work with the campus ministry team to set spiritual vision and carry out plans for student growth.
- Teach students how to study, love, and apply Scripture to their daily lives.
- Promote the mission on campus by helping build witnessing communities that are ethnically diverse.
- Proclaim the Gospel and help students develop strategic thinking regarding their witness to the university.
- Encourage a prayerful lifestyle among students, particularly those who do not yet follow Jesus.
- Act as an ambassador to ministry partners and churches by sharing updates on mission efforts.
- Participate in regular training and supervision with your staff director.
What you'll need#
- You are a follower of Jesus Christ and can annually affirm the Statement of Agreement.
- You have a developing passion for evangelism.
- You demonstrate leadership qualities like initiative, self-awareness, and cultural competence.
- You are eager to learn, professional in your communication, and comfortable working within a team.
- This position is open to third or fourth year students at a four-year institution or community college.

- This role is located in Indiana.
- The position is on-site.
- This is a paid internship. Compensation is funded through personal fundraising, and you will be responsible for securing a donor team to cover your salary.
