About the role#
This internship focuses on learning the basics of college campus ministry within the Texas Gulf Coast area. You will develop your leadership skills, grow in biblical knowledge, and discern your call to ministry service. This role is open to students currently enrolled in a four-year or community college.
What you'll do#
- Participate and engage fully with the campus ministry team to cast vision and direction.
- Teach students to love, study, and apply Scripture to their lives.
- Promote the mission on campus by seeking opportunities to demonstrate the Gospel.
- Encourage a prayerful lifestyle in students.
- Serve as an ambassador of InterVarsity to ministry partners and churches.
- Assist with reporting and engage with training provided by your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- You are a follower of Jesus Christ and can annually affirm InterVarsity’s Statement of Agreement.
- A developing passion for evangelism.
- Leadership qualities including initiative, self-awareness, and teamwork.
- Cross-cultural competence.
- Preferred majors include Communications, Psychology, Sociology, or History.

- Location: Texas.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- This is a paid position. Compensation is funded through personal fundraising, and final pay depends on the ability to secure a donor team.
- This role is part-time.
