About the role#
This internship focuses on learning the basics of college campus ministry. You will work with a campus ministry team to develop your leadership skills, grow in your spiritual understanding, and mature as a disciple of Jesus Christ. This position is limited to students currently enrolled in a four-year or community college. Eligibility depends on your current year of study and the type of institution you attend.
What you'll do#
- Participate and engage fully with the campus ministry team to cast vision and direction.
- Teach students to love, study, and apply Scripture to their lives.
- Promote the mission on campus by seeking opportunities to share the Gospel.
- Encourage a prayerful lifestyle in students.
- Serve as an ambassador of InterVarsity to ministry partners and churches.
- Engage with supervision and training provided by your staff ministry trainer.
What you'll need#
- You are a follower of Jesus Christ.
- You can annually affirm the InterVarsity Statement of Agreement.
- You have a developing passion for evangelism.
- You demonstrate leadership qualities such as initiative, self-awareness, communication, and teamwork.
- You show an eagerness to learn.
- Preferred majors include Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, Political Science, and Communications.

- Compensation: This is a paid position. Compensation is funded through personal fundraising, and your actual pay depends on your ability to secure a donor team to cover the cost of your salary.
