About the role#
The Esports Broadcast Manager oversees shoutcasting and video production for the MCC athletic esports program. You will manage the technical side of our broadcasts and ensure our events run smoothly. This position runs for the full 2026-2027 academic year.
What you'll do#
- Create and maintain shoutcasting schedules for official MCC matches.
- Design and update stream assets, including overlays, graphics, and advertisements.
- Manage stream scenes and sources using software like OBS and vMix.
- Oversee video uploads and channel operations on YouTube and Twitch.
- Train other team members on streaming software and hardware usage.
- Shoutcast matches as needed and handle general troubleshooting.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Practical experience with streaming software such as vMix, OBS, or Streamlabs.
- Familiarity with video editing tools like DaVinci Resolve or Canva.
- Ability to operate streaming hardware including microphones and stream decks.
- Understanding of streaming platforms like YouTube and Twitch.
- Skills in scheduling, personnel management, and graphic design.

- This role is based on-site in Marshalltown, Iowa.
- The position is paid at $10.00 per hour.
- We are hiring for the Fall 2026, Winter 2027, and Spring 2027 terms.
