About the role#
This work study position supports the financial aid team at the Marshalltown campus for the Fall 2026 semester. You will help students and parents navigate financial aid processes while gaining office experience.
What you'll do#
- Answer financial aid questions from students and parents via phone and in-person walk-ins.
- Handle clerical and administrative tasks, including scanning documents and various projects.
- Process student payments and print statements.
- Serve as general backup for the financial aid office.
- Learn and use the Jenzabar EX student information system.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Current enrollment in a Business Administration program or similar field.
- A college GPA that meets or exceeds the IVCCD Standards of Academic Progress.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently within a team.
