About the role#
The Esports Arena and Console Lounge Supervisor manages the facility during open hours. You help student-athletes and students enrolled in esports courses access the space for practice and coursework. This role focuses on security, equipment care, and maintaining a welcoming environment for everyone using the arena.
What you'll do#
- Manage door access and let authorized users into the arena.
- Troubleshoot game onboarding and software updates.
- Secure the facility by locking equipment, turning off PCs, and ensuring all exits are closed.
- Enforce space rules to protect equipment and maintain the integrity of the lounge.
- Operate the digital point-of-sale system.
- Perform light maintenance tasks like vacuuming and waste removal.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to manage groups of students and report issues to coaching staff.
- Experience or comfort operating a point-of-sale system.
- Professional communication skills.
- Ability to handle basic cleaning and equipment security procedures.

- Location: Marshalltown, IA.
- Term: Fall 2026 through Winter 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Pay: $10.00 per hour.
