About the role#
The Division of Marketing Communications manages the Ithaca College brand. We work with partners across campus to solve marketing, design, and web needs. This role offers an opportunity to gain professional experience while sharing stories about our students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
What you'll do#
- Create content for marketing communications.
- Participate in professional photoshoots as a subject or model.
- Conduct interviews for content production.
- Engage in social media activities, including Instagram takeovers.
- Write news stories for the college website.
- Showcase the experiences that define an Ithaca College education.
What you'll need#
- Experience with content creation.
- Strong writing skills.
- Experience with video production.
- Ability to engage with social media audiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
- Majors in Communications, Marketing, Media Studies, Graphic Design, Journalism, Art, or Psychology are relevant to this work.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position in Ithaca, New York.
- The role is full-time and paid at 16.00 per hour.
- Hiring is on a rolling basis.
