About the role#
This is a full-time, paid position at Ithaca College. It is an on-site role with a rolling term. You will work under the Executive Director to support events and maintain facility operations.
What you'll do#
- Manage technical assets such as sound, lighting, projection, stage equipment, and instruments.
- Set up and operate technical systems for events or coordinate with trained operators.
- Keep the building and its systems safe, clean, and functional.
- Collect attendance data for events and rentals while maintaining accurate metrics.
- Provide customer service and act as a liaison for renters.
What you'll need#
- Experience in stage, sound, and lighting design implementation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to enforce policies consistently.
- Physical ability to handle equipment.
- Flexible availability, including nights and weekends.
- Preferred majors include Communications, Media Studies, Art, Graphic Design, Business Administration, or Human Resources.

- Location: Ithaca, New York, United States.
- Pay: $17.00 per hour.
