About the role#
Join the team at Campus Center Dining for the Fall 2026 term. This position provides on-the-job training and professional experience in a dining environment. You will work between 4 and 20 hours per week at a pay rate of $16.30 per hour.
What you'll do#
Your primary focus is to provide customer service and ensure a positive experience for guests. You will collaborate with co-workers and manage various tasks throughout each shift.
- Greet guests with a friendly demeanor.
- Maintain knowledge of all food items, including ingredients, preparations, and allergens.
- Prepare service lines by cleaning and sanitizing, turning on hot and cold wells, and displaying menus.
- Set up stations with required utensils, condiments, and service items.
- Monitor food temperatures and record data at required intervals.
- Replenish service lines from coolers and ovens as needed.
- Break down and clean service lines, workstations, and dining areas after meal service.
- Assist guests with special requests and communicate clearly with the team.

- Some knowledge of register operations.
- Willingness to perform various peripheral tasks.
- Commitment to sanitation and food safety procedures.
