About the role#
This per diem internship at Jefferson Apothecary helps you prepare for a future career as a pharmacist. You will combine your classroom knowledge of pharmaceuticals with hands-on technical and clinical experience in a hospital setting.
What you'll do#
- Procure, store, and help dispense medications and pharmaceutical supplies for patients and departments.
- Participate in the hospital medication distribution system.
- Prepare parenteral products using aseptic technique.
- Maintain quality pharmacy services.
- Interact with co-workers and other staff members.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college of pharmacy.
- Knowledge of pharmaceuticals.
- Previous experience is helpful but not required.
