About the role#
The Supply Chain Operations Co-Op is a six-month program providing practical industrial experience within the OTTAVA surgical robotics program. You will work directly with the Supply Chain Operations team to develop technical and communication skills while supporting the production of medical technologies. This role offers exposure to capital equipment manufacturing processes and cross-functional collaboration with engineering departments.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Test, R&D, and Quality Engineering teams to design, develop, document, and qualify manufacturing processes for electro-mechanical components.
- Perform gap analysis for manufacturing and test processes.
- Collect, analyze, and report process data.
- Coordinate with external and internal suppliers to support key projects.
- Lead small technical projects and process changes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree.
- Current standing as a junior or senior.
- A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Majors in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Excel.
- Legal authorization to work in the US without the need for sponsorship.

- Location: Santa Clara, California.
- Work Modality: On-site only.
- Terms: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
- Requirements: Must have reliable transportation to and from work daily.
