About the role#
This full-time analyst program provides an entry point into risk management at a global investment bank. The program begins with four weeks of intensive training covering valuation analytics, accounting, corporate finance, economics, and risk analysis. Analysts work within specialized teams including Credit Risk, Market Risk, and the Chief Investment Office, Treasury and Corporate Risk. You will receive mentorship and participate in projects to build your technical and practical knowledge.
What you'll do#
- Learn about risk management within a global investment bank.
- Develop skills to assess and evaluate risks across various portfolios.
- Collaborate across the organization to solve problems and address inquiries from clients, regulators, and business stakeholders.
- Perform analysis and due diligence on counterparties and products.
- Monitor risk sensitivities and build financial models.
- Assist in evaluating market moves that could cause losses to the firm.
- Prepare reports to outline recommendations for senior management.
- Understand the role of integrity and transparency in professional dealings.
What you'll need#
- Expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027 from a bachelor’s or master’s program.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
- Enrollment at a college or university in the U.S.
- Exceptional quantitative, analytical, project management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Fluency in English.
- Coursework in finance, economics, or accounting is preferred.
