About the role#
The 2027 Commercial & Investment Bank Risk Management Summer Analyst Program is a nine-week internship designed to build your technical and practical knowledge in risk management. The program begins with an orientation and training session in New York, where you will learn about the firm's history, products, and risk analysis methodologies. You will work within one of our specialized teams, including Credit Risk, Market Risk, or the Chief Investment Office, Treasury and Corporate Risk team.
What you'll do#
- Perform analysis and due diligence on counterparties and products.
- Monitor risk sensitivities across the portfolio.
- Build financial models to support risk assessments.
- Contribute to analytical exercises in response to global events.
- Prepare reports with recommendations for senior management.
- Evaluate market movements that could impact the firm.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a U.S. college or university.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028 from a bachelor’s or master’s program.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
- Coursework in finance, economics, or accounting.
- Exceptional quantitative, analytical, project management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word, and fluency in English.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for immigration sponsorship.
