About the role#
Keeley Companies is seeking Estimating Interns for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Fargo, North Dakota. You will work within our Operations Groups to support the development of construction cost estimates.
What you'll do#
- Assist Vice Presidents, Project Managers, and Project Engineers with cost estimates for various construction projects.
- Reach out to subcontractors to collect and evaluate bids.
- Update project timelines and align estimates with schedules.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss budget considerations and cost implications.
- Follow company safety standards throughout the estimating process.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor degree program for Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A desire to learn multiple tasks and a high aptitude for picking up new skills.
- You are an intuitive listener.
