About the role#
The Commercial Bank internship is a 10.5-week program designed to provide insight into how various business lines collaborate to support middle market and institutional clients. You will gain experience across areas such as business development, product management, risk, and operations. Throughout the summer, you will work on projects that impact our strategic goals while receiving mentorship from industry professionals.
What you'll do#
- Analyze financial reporting to identify business opportunities.
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to deliver value to clients.
- Conduct research and analysis for a capstone project to be presented to executive leadership.
- Build professional relationships to understand the various departments within the bank.
- Participate in learning labs and networking events to develop your professional skills.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two years toward a four-year undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Science, Business Administration, or Mathematics.
- An anticipated graduation date in or before May 2028.
- A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.3.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Location: Cleveland, Ohio.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 26, 2027 to August 6, 2027).
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Compensation: $23 per hour plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus.
- Note: This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.
