About the role#
KWS Group is hiring a Business Development Intern for the Summer 2026 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Moorhead, Minnesota. You will work on projects related to sugar beet quality measurement, including the development and testing of new systems for internal use and for customers.
What you'll do#
- Support business development activities by fabricating, maintaining, repairing, and testing equipment.
- Collect, process, and evaluate samples from research and development projects.
- Assist in conducting trials for calibration development using machine vision and NIRS technology.
- Update and test equipment prototypes.
- Organize, catalog, and manage project schedules to meet cost and time targets.
- Support new and existing customers.
- Follow safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program such as Business Administration, Agriculture, Logistics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong organizational, planning, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Computer skills and the ability to learn new software systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to operate hand tools and automated equipment.
- A valid driver's license.
Location & details#
- This role is located in Moorhead, MN.
- You will work in warehouse, factory, and outdoor environments with varying conditions such as heat, cold, dust, and noise.
- The role requires physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Occasional travel may be required.
