About the role#
This is a 16-month co-op term, with 12-month terms occasionally available. You will work with engineers across various departments to support systems solutions projects and the evaluation of ruggedized Line Replaceable Units. This role requires strong communication skills and attention to detail.
What you'll do#
- Generate and revise systems engineering documentation, including specifications, interface control documents, and schematics.
- Develop, document, and execute test procedures for hardware and software functionality.
- Write reports documenting testing results.
- Organize, coordinate, and track the compliance status of requirement verification activities.
- Use electronic equipment such as digital oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers when needed.
- Support Bids and Proposals activities by handling technical queries and compliance matrices.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor or advanced degree program in Engineering or Science.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.
- A good understanding of both Mechanical and Electrical engineering principles.
- The ability to coordinate efforts across multiple departments.
- Experience with electro-mechanical systems, optic, or laser devices is an asset.
