About the role#
This internship supports the contract lifecycle for complex government, commercial, and international programs. You will work with internal teams to manage business processes, handle proposal development, and ensure all activities follow company policies and government regulations. The role involves a 9/80 work schedule, where you work 80 hours over 9 days and have every other Friday off.
What you'll do#
- Assist in proposal development and general contract administration.
- Process contract funding into PeopleSoft and track program performance metrics.
- Provide guidance to internal program teams to help solve complex problems.
- Analyze business and contractual risks and suggest mitigation tactics.
- Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts including prices, terms, and special provisions.
- Identify subcontract flow-down clauses.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and corporate policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program.
- Preferred fields of study include Government Contracting, Procurement, Finance, Management, Business, Economics, or Supply Chain Management.
- Strong computer skills.
