About the role#
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering intern to join our team for the summer of 2027. This role provides hands-on experience in both new product development and factory support for existing products. You will work alongside engineers and mechanical designers to contribute to design, documentation, and engineering change processes.
What you'll do#
- Provide mechanical engineering support for new product development and existing factory operations.
- Work directly with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation.
- Generate and process engineering change orders as required.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's, master's, or PhD program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering, or a related field at an accredited university.
- Exposure to CAD or analysis tools is preferred.
- Experience with mechanical design or analysis of electronic systems, structures, and mechanisms is a plus.
- Interest in gear trains, motion control, or AI is helpful.

- Location: Palm Bay, Florida.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship. The work schedule follows a 9/80 format, where employees work 80 hours over 9 days and have every other Friday off.
