About the role#
We are hiring a full-time Mechanical Engineer Intern to work on-site in Greenville, Texas. This position runs from January 2027 through July 2027. You will work a 9/80 schedule, which includes every other Friday off.
What you'll do#
- Provide mechanical engineering support for product development and existing factory products.
- Work alongside mechanical designers to develop CAD models and documentation.
- Generate and process engineering change orders (ECOs).
- Apply structural mechanics principles to predict internal stresses and structural instabilities.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with finite element methods and fatigue analysis.
- Exposure to CAD or FEA tools.
- Experience in mechanical design or analysis of electronic systems, structures, and mechanisms is preferred.
