About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Dallas, Texas. You will work on-site within the Electro-Optical and Infrared Systems line of business. The program lasts 12 to 14 weeks and follows a 9/80 work schedule. You will collaborate with experienced engineers on projects related to infrared and electro-optical solutions for airborne platforms and ground vehicles.
What you'll do#
- Conduct limited scope testing and design analysis under the guidance of software engineers.
- Gather, assemble, and report data on project progress.
- Perform calculations to support engineering tasks.
- Use Microsoft Office applications for daily documentation and reporting.
- Work effectively both independently and as a member of a team.
- Support and represent the values and culture of the organization.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university as a Junior or Senior.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Experience or classroom knowledge of C, C++, or C#.
- Completion of a formal data structure course.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active DOD security clearance.
