About the role#
We are hiring Engineering Summer Interns for our Charlotte and Durham offices. You will work on real projects throughout the summer under the mentorship of licensed engineers. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Conduct field site assessments.
- Perform drafting tasks.
- Assist with municipal permitting and entitlements.
- Conduct code research.
- Perform material research and specifications.
What you'll need#
- You must be a rising college junior, senior, or graduate student.
- Current enrollment in a Civil, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, or Architectural Engineering program.
- Knowledge of Revit, InDesign, Photoshop, and Sketch-up.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate in a team setting.

- This role is based on-site in Charlotte, North Carolina or Durham, North Carolina.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- We do not offer visa sponsorship for this position.
