About the role#
This internship is a paid, full-time position based in Houston, Texas. It runs during the summer of 2027 and requires you to be on-site Monday through Friday for 40 hours per week. You will work alongside experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience in the water and wastewater sector.
What you'll do#
- Perform engineering tasks under the guidance of experienced professionals.
- Shadow actual operations to learn about different project phases.
- Complete unique assignments that support larger projects.
- Learn about the various sectors and services offered by the company.
- Participate in social engagement activities.
What you'll need#
- Completed at least one year of college.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Strong academic performance and high motivation.
- A sincere desire to learn about the industry and company.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel.
- A strong work ethic.
