About the role#
Student workers at the Children's Learning Center support classroom and center operations under the direct supervision of teaching staff. You will help ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
What you'll do#
- Assist teachers with routine tasks that promote health, nutrition, and personal hygiene.
- Supervise children under the direction of the teaching staff.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly classroom environment.
- Help with the inventory of supplies and materials.
- Report classroom needs to your assigned teachers.
- Take on additional duties as delegated by the teaching staff.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in LCCC classes with a minimum of six credit hours per semester.
- Ability to meet the standards of an extensive background check as required by ODJFS.
- Willingness to attend and complete all required training.
- Experience working with children or current enrollment in an Early Childhood Education program is preferred.
