About the role#
This internship provides hands-on exposure to the distribution side of the mutual funds and investment management business. You will work alongside Internal Sales Management and Internal Business Consultants to learn about sales strategies, client engagement, and business development. This program is designed to build your financial literacy and sales acumen while you contribute to projects that support the Internal Sales Desk.
What you'll do#
- Assist the sales management and consultant teams with daily tasks and ongoing projects.
- Research and prepare reports to support sales strategies and maintain competitive intelligence.
- Coordinate advisor events and manage Continuing Education reporting with internal teams.
- Engage with investment management professionals to understand products, markets, and sales approaches.
- Participate in roundtable discussions and collaborative projects with other summer interns.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, along with attention to detail.
- A demonstrated interest in capital markets and sales within the financial services industry.
