About the role#
The Derivative and Asset Modeling team develops quantitative models for asset and derivative valuation and risk analytics. This team supports Global Asset and Liability Management, portfolio management, trading, and global investment strategy. This is a Summer 2027 co-op position.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and enhancement of valuation curves, derivative and asset models, and pricing tools.
- Assist in the ongoing monitoring, review, and performance assessment of models and curves.
- Maintain internally developed tools, the curve database, and the model inventory.
- Contribute to ad hoc initiatives and special projects across model development, validation, and implementation.
- Support market data research, analysis, and validation efforts.
What you'll need#
- An advanced degree or professional designation in Math, Finance, Physics, Computer Engineering, Statistics, or Actuarial Science.
- Solid understanding of quantitative finance and contingent claim theory.
- Programming experience in Python, C/C++, MATLAB, or VB/VBA.
- Knowledge and experience in stochastic modeling and numerical techniques.
- Ability to conceptualize solutions to complex technical issues.
