About the role#
The Logistics and Storage intern and co-op program aims to develop future technical and leadership talent. You will work alongside experienced professionals as a contributing member of a team. The program may consist of multiple work sessions, allowing you to rotate through different business segments to gain broad experience.
What you'll do#
- Gain experience in the five phases of the Marathon Project Management Process, including conceptual, feasibility, definition, implementation, and start-up or close-out.
- Develop project scopes.
- Provide engineering oversight and technical design.
- Perform cost estimating and schedule development.
- Evaluate and summarize bid sets.
- Supervise construction sites.
- Provide safety leadership and coordinate with operations groups.
- Manage project documentation.
What you'll need#
- Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Concurrent enrollment in a degree program for the duration of the experience.
- Strong academic performance.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, indefinite basis without the need for visa sponsorship.
- A valid driver's license, as many projects require travel to construction sites.
