About the role#
Marvin Composites seeks a Controls Engineer Intern to work at our plant in Fargo, North Dakota. You will work with custom automated manufacturing equipment and learn how automation supports production safety and efficiency. This is a paid, full-time internship during the summer and a part-time role during the school year. We look for students who can balance their academic schedule with professional work year-round.
What you'll do#
- Participate in custom equipment projects designed for production use.
- Maintain and program automated machines and equipment.
- Gain practical experience in machine wiring.
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing faulty mechanical and electrical components throughout the facility.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
- Experience using Rockwell Automation systems.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
