About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term based on-site in Dorval, Quebec. You will join our team to verify the reliability, functionality, and performance of our Software Development Kit and video drivers.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the development of test plans.
- Modify and validate test cases across different operating systems.
- Document your findings using Test Rail.
- Log functional and performance issues into Jira.
- Work with the engineering group to reproduce and resolve product-related problems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s program for Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Completion of at least 30 credits with a GPA of 2.9/4.3 or 2.6/4.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10 and 11, plus experience with various Linux distributions.
- Experience with PC hardware peripherals and the ability to swap components safely.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for both software and hardware.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and solve problems independently.
- Excellent attention to detail, professional work ethic, and strong communication skills.
- Fluency in both English and French.
- Helpful assets include scripting and debugging skills, knowledge of video technology, and an understanding of networking tools and the OSI model.
