About the role#
This internship involves applying data science, artificial intelligence, and informatics expertise to research and clinical projects. You will work within both research and clinical administrative settings, contributing to the design, implementation, analysis, and reporting of studies. You will also collaborate with other researchers to develop machine learning applications.

- Contribute to the development and validation of machine learning applications.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Informatics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- You have excellent Python programming skills.
- You possess strong expertise in conducting literature reviews.
- You have demonstrated experience with experimentation and validation.
- You have a foundational understanding of AI models and their validation in pathology.
- Prior research experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data science is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Rochester, Minnesota.
- The internship term is rolling.
