About the role#
As a Logistics Co-op at McKenney's, Inc., you will work directly with our Logistics and Manufacturing teams. You will handle tasks that impact project success from your first day. You will learn to negotiate contracts, research supply chain alternatives, and perform data analytics. High-performing students may manage a process improvement project from start to finish under the guidance of the Logistics Manager.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with Logistics and Manufacturing groups to build procurement and delivery strategies.
- Ensure materials move on time from shops, vendors, and warehouses to job sites.
- Work with Shop Superintendents to apply LEAN principles and identify waste in current processes.
- Use historical and real-time data to spot trends and support decision-making.
- Communicate with a wide range of people, from field staff to executive leadership.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Co-op program at an accredited school.
- A major in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Completion of at least two full-time, alternating Co-op rotations before graduation.
- Ability to focus on details and manage multiple tasks at once.
