About the role#
As a Co-op, you will join the Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) team to support projects and gain hands-on experience in building system energy efficiency. You will receive training and handle tasks that contribute to our project outcomes. This role involves estimating costs, creating budgets, and applying industry standards like ASHRAE and NEBB. You will work in an office environment with occasional visits to active construction jobsites.
What you'll do#
- Assist project management with estimates, RFIs, quotes, and proposals.
- Create project documentation, including reports and test forms.
- Develop or revise CAD drawings and schematics to support field work.
- Analyze field data to verify system performance.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and equipment data to determine balancing techniques.
- Maintain project opportunities in Salesforce and communicate with customers.
- Visit jobsites to provide feedback to team members and supervisors.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Co-op program at an accredited engineering school.
- Pursuit of a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Ability to complete three full-time Co-op rotations prior to graduation.
- Basic PC skills in Windows environments.
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, web applications, and database software.
- Strong math, science, and technical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Location: Atlanta, Georgia.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Rotations: Spring 2027, Fall 2027, and Summer 2028.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
