About the role#
Software Engineering interns join experienced teams to contribute to projects across software development, AI and data science, cloud computing, quality, DevOps, systems engineering, and firmware. These are full-time, paid positions lasting 10 to 11 weeks during the summer of 2027. You will work on-site at least 4 days a week to support professional growth and cross-functional collaboration.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, test, debug, and implement software components, tools, and utilities.
- Support the development and execution of cloud strategy, including architecture design and maintenance.
- Evaluate software system activities, including requirements, design, integration, and validation.
- Conduct requirements gathering and analysis to understand software domains and interfaces.
- Develop and execute test plans and scripts to detect problems in applications and systems.
- Program integrated software algorithms to analyze data for product applications.
What you'll need#
- Working toward a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering field.
- Ability to work full time, 40 hours per week, for the duration of the internship.
- Current authorization to work in the United States. Please note that sponsorship is not provided for this position.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Experience with programming languages or technical tools is preferred, such as C, C++, C#/.NET, SQL, JavaScript, Java, Python, Swift, HTML/CSS, or development tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
Location & details#
Positions are based at primary hubs in Minnesota, California, Colorado, Connecticut, and Massachusetts, with additional opportunities in Arizona, Florida, Michigan, Tennessee, and Texas. While candidate location preferences are considered, flexibility increases the number of available opportunities. All interns must reside in the United States for the duration of the program.
