About the role#
Medtronic offers full-time, paid summer internships for students pursuing engineering degrees. These positions last 10 to 11 weeks and require 40 hours of work per week. Interns work on-site at various locations across the United States. You will join a cohort and work on projects within research and development, operations, or quality engineering.
What you'll do#
- Support the design, development, analysis, and testing of engineering solutions.
- Contribute to system integration, verification, validation, risk analysis, and data-driven evaluations.
- Develop, apply, and maintain quality standards and protocols.
- Design and support manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams to support quality requirements and compliance.
What you'll need#
- Working toward a bachelor's or master's degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Computer, or Chemical Engineering, or Data Science, Statistics, or Materials Science & Engineering.
- An anticipated graduation date of Winter 2027, Spring 2028, Winter 2028, or Spring 2029.
- A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- Prior experience in engineering design, testing, manufacturing, quality, data analysis, or product development.
- Current authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Work modality: On-site (minimum 4 days per week).
- Locations: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, Tennessee, and Texas.
- Compensation: $26.50 to $45.25 per hour.
