About the role#
Medtronic is hiring Engineering Interns for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, 10-11 week paid internship. You will work 40 hours per week in an on-site capacity. Interns participate in a cohort-based program with opportunities across research and development, operations, and quality engineering.
What you'll do#
- Support the design, development, analysis, and testing of engineering solutions.
- Contribute to system integration, risk analysis, and safety testing.
- Assist with regulatory compliance and the transfer of products into manufacturing.
- Design and support manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards and protocols.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's or master's degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Computer, Chemical, or Civil Engineering, or Data Science.
- An anticipated graduation date of Winter 2027, Spring 2028, Winter 2028, or Spring 2029.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Previous experience in engineering design, testing, manufacturing, or quality through projects or work experience.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. Medtronic does not provide sponsorship for this position.
