About the role#
This position supports the Box Office and the University Receptionist. You will handle ticket sales, manage event inquiries, and assist with campus phone operations. This is a paid, part-time role for the 2026-27 academic year.
What you'll do#
- Sell tickets and answer questions in the Box Office.
- Act as head usher during events, including supervising Ticket Taker and Usher staff.
- Assist the University Receptionist by answering phones and directing callers.
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
- Build general knowledge of campus operations to assist callers and visitors.
What you'll need#
- Experience in cash handling, customer service, and guest relations.
- A friendly, courteous, and helpful demeanor.
- Ability to follow specific dress codes for office and event settings. Office attire allows nice tops and jeans, while events require a white button-up shirt with black pants or skirts and black flat shoes.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration or Communications.

- Compensation: $8.00 per hour.
