About the role#
As a Class Leader for Wellness Exercise, you will lead group fitness sessions for students, staff, and community members at the Falcon Fitness Center. This is a paid position for the Fall 2026 term. You will work on-site in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
What you'll do#
- Plan and lead safe, effective, and enjoyable exercise sessions.
- Maintain consistent attendance for all scheduled classes.
- Promote your exercise classes to potential participants.
- Share your session plans with the wellness director when asked.
- Complete your time sheet promptly after each session.
- Report any injuries or operational problems to the wellness director immediately.
- Wear professional exercise attire appropriate for the specific class you are leading.
What you'll need#
- An appropriate certification to lead safe and effective exercise programs.
- Knowledge of safe exercise techniques.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- A motivational and enthusiastic approach to helping others improve their wellness.
- Availability to work at times convenient for participants, which may include early mornings or evenings.
- Majors in Kinesiology, Nursing, Public Health, Health Administration, Psychology, or Business Administration are relevant to this role.
