About the role#
Metallus Inc. is hiring a Rolling Mill Operations Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Canton, Ohio. You will gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment while working alongside our engineering and operations teams.
What you'll do#
- Identify and work on process improvement opportunities within the rolling mill.
- Manage an assigned rolling mill project from start to finish.
- Collaborate with planners and schedulers to support ongoing repair projects.
What you'll need#
- You must be a full-time student at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university.
- You need a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- You must have completed at least 30 credit hours by the end of the spring 2027 semester.
- Preferred majors include Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
