About the role#
As a Technical Sales Intern at Metallus, you will work within our manufacturing operations to understand the steel industry. This full-time internship takes place during the summer of 2027. You will gain experience in account management and learn how we move products from initial inquiry to final shipment.
What you'll do#
- Shadow Account Managers to learn prospecting, cold calling, pricing, and presentation skills.
- Study our product offerings, market segments, and competitive position.
- Travel locally with team members to attend customer meetings and plant tours.
- Participate in career development workshops covering resume building and interview preparation.
What you'll need#
- You must be a full-time student at an accredited college or university.
- You need to have completed at least 30 credit hours by the end of the spring 2027 semester.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 is required.
- We prefer students pursuing degrees in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
