About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work within the quality department at a Michelin manufacturing facility. You will support production goals, ensure compliance with quality standards, and contribute to ongoing process improvements. This is a full-time, paid position for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Ensure products meet quality planning models and manufacturing standards.
- Contribute to the quality obtention section of the progress plan.
- Participate in quality planning for materials, products, processes, and methods.
- Develop clear guidelines and standards for operators.
- Analyze data to identify patterns and draw logical conclusions.
- Present findings and recommendations to management based on facts and analysis.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited four-year college or university.
- A major in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering, or Computer Science.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A willingness to work in an industrial plant environment.
- Ability to work full-time during the summer.
- Authorization to work in the United States on an ongoing, indefinite basis. Please note that this position does not offer immigration sponsorship.
