    About the role#

    The Progress Engineering Internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on manufacturing experience during the Summer 2027 term. You will work within an industrial plant environment to address production challenges while receiving practical training in industrial engineering fundamentals. This position is a full-time, paid role.

    What you'll do#

    • Lead real improvement activities in a manufacturing setting.
    • Work alongside experienced industrial engineering mentors and shop leaders.
    • Improve shop performance and operator outcomes.
    • Apply classroom learning to solve production challenges.

    What you'll need#

    • Current full-time enrollment at an accredited four-year college or university.
    • A major in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering, or Computer Science.
    • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to interact professionally with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
    • Experience working in a team to meet common objectives.
    • Ability to work in an industrial plant environment Monday through Friday on the day shift.
    • Authorization to work in the United States on an ongoing, indefinite basis. Please note that this position does not offer immigration sponsorship.
