About the role#
As a Development Intern for Corporate Relations, you will support corporate donor engagement, prospect research, and stewardship efforts. You will work with the Associate Director for Corporate Relations to grow and strengthen the Corporate Council. This role provides hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising and relationship management.
What you'll do#
- Research potential corporate partners and funding opportunities.
- Assist with outreach to prospective and current Corporate Council members.
- Maintain accurate donor and prospect records in Salesforce.
- Help plan and execute Corporate Council meetings, briefings, conferences, and other donor events.
- Prepare briefing materials, donor profiles, meeting notes, and follow-up communications.
- Research corporate giving trends to identify new partnership opportunities.
- Support stewardship activities by tracking engagement and coordinating donor communications.
- Provide general administrative and operational support for Corporate Relations initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or recent graduation from a bachelor's program in International Relations, Political Science, Business, Communications, Nonprofit Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- A strong interest in fundraising, corporate partnerships, nonprofit development, or the Middle East.
- Excellent communication, organizational, writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong research and analytical abilities with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software is a plus.

- This is an on-site position based in Washington, District of Columbia.
- The internship is for the Fall 2026 term.
- This is an unpaid, full-time position.
