About the role#
As a Mechanical Engineer Intern at MKS Inc., you will work with the Technical Operations team to design, fabricate, and document assembly fixtures. You will report to the Director of Technical Operations and contribute to the development of production tools.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the development, setup, and documentation of assembly fixtures.
- Build test fixtures for production use.
- Manage material orders.
- Create parts using 3D printing.
- Review documentation for new fixture designs.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 0 to 1 years of job-related experience.
- Proficiency with CAD software and 3D printing.
- Experience with fabrication skills.
- Ability to draw and document mechanical parts.
- Competence using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for documentation.
- Comfort using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with others to develop solutions.

- Location: Andover, Massachusetts.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Full-time.
- Compensation: $22.00 to $29.00 per hour.
- Benefits: Includes 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 paid vacation days for those working at least 20 hours per week.
