About the role#
Applied Materials is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Co-op for the Winter 2027 term. This position is based in Gloucester, Massachusetts, and requires full-time, on-site attendance. You will work within our VSE Business Unit to gain professional experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
What you'll do#
- Perform routine assignments as part of an entry-level professional progression.
- Develop technical competence through structured work tasks.
- Use established procedures to solve standard engineering problems.
- Collaborate with team members while receiving instruction, guidance, and direction.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Good academic standing, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- A desire to learn quickly and take a hands-on approach to your work.
- Prior experience in semiconductor processing or manufacturing is preferred.
