About the role#
The Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) program offers students authentic learning experiences to build employability skills. You will participate in a paid 45-hour work experience, which may be located on or off campus depending on your interests and goals. Your official placement is determined through collaboration with the Applied Learning Coordinator.
What you'll do#
- Meet with the Applied Learning Coordinator to determine your work placement.
- Complete tasks as assigned by your work site supervisor.
- Document your hours by completing weekly timesheets.
- Submit your timesheets to the Pre-ETS office every week.
- Write a weekly journal entry about your internship experiences and submit it alongside your timesheet.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a Business Administration student.
- A commitment to completing the full 45-hour work experience.
- Ability to attend scheduled meetings with the Applied Learning Coordinator.
- Willingness to learn the onboarding process and complete required payroll forms.
