About the role#
This co-op assignment offers an opportunity to join the Global Engineering Solutions team for a 6-month term starting in Winter 2027. You will work on projects related to the design, construction, and delivery of manufacturing facilities and laboratories. This role is designed for students in their Junior or Senior year to develop leadership, communication, and technical skills within a manufacturing environment. You will receive support from an assignment manager, mentors, and a buddy throughout your term.
What you'll do#
- Apply technical knowledge, data analysis, and troubleshooting skills to support pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, facilities, and equipment.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver results within a team-based environment.
- Develop leadership and execution skills through vendor management and technical decision-making.
- Review project design deliverables, technical documentation, and equipment lifecycle activities, including specification, selection, testing, and commissioning.
- Assist with planning, tracking, and coordinating team work to meet schedule, quality, and budget expectations.
- Support construction, field, or operational activities by observing work and ensuring safety and quality standards.
- Engage with vendors, construction personnel, and cross-functional team members to resolve questions and support project execution.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemical, Biomedical, or Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
- Junior or Senior standing at an accredited college or university.
- U.S. citizenship or status as a lawful permanent resident of the U.S.
- Strong communication, collaboration, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving abilities, curiosity, and a desire to contribute to continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated motivation, dependability, and systems thinking.
- A genuine interest in engineering, manufacturing, and project delivery.
