About the role#
This internship is part of the Future Talent Program at MSD. You will join the Digital Engagement team within the Regulatory Innovation and Information Management department. This team acts as a bridge between technology partners and scientists, ensuring that new digital tools are successfully adopted across the organization. You will spend 12 weeks helping the team build awareness and lead education efforts for new software and system upgrades.
What you'll do#
- Design and execute user awareness campaigns for digital product releases.
- Create training guides, interactive modules, and educational materials to teach employees how to use new tools.
- Draft clear text-based communications, including newsletters, internal blog posts, and informational pages.
- Develop visual assets such as graphics, presentation slides, and short instructional video walkthroughs.
- Gather user feedback and measure the impact of communication campaigns.
- Identify areas where additional user training is required.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Communications, Marketing, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to translate complex technical terms into simple language.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Confidence in delivering virtual or in-person presentations.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain high attention to detail.
- Experience or coursework in graphic design, layout creation, video editing, or professional content writing.
- Experience creating training materials or documentation.
- Comfort using digital productivity environments.
