About the role#
The Future Talent Program offers a 12-week internship focused on Diversity and Inclusion in Clinical Trials (DICT). You will work on projects designed to improve representation in clinical research, ensuring trials reflect the diverse populations impacted by disease. This role provides exposure to clinical trial operations, patient engagement, and diversity strategy.
What you'll do#
- Support projects that identify and address barriers to clinical trial participation.
- Analyze clinical trial and demographic data to find representation gaps.
- Assist with community engagement and outreach initiatives.
- Help develop strategies to build trust and awareness within diverse communities.
- Collaborate with Global Clinical Trial Operations (GCTO) and the DICT team.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations based on your analysis.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student with a graduation date after Summer 2027.
- Pursuit of a degree in Biology, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Public Health, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented approach with solid time management skills.
- Interest in clinical research and community outreach.
- Previous experience or coursework in research methods or clinical trials is a plus.
