About the role#
The Future Talent Program offers internships lasting up to 12 weeks. These roles are based at our Wilmington, Delaware site, which focuses on the production of antibody drug conjugates. Interns will work on projects within the Manufacturing Division to gain professional experience and support our Global Biologics Organization.
What you'll do#
- Work as part of a team starting up a manufacturing plant, focusing on either drug substance or drug product lines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Support or lead projects to improve safety and compliance performance.
- Transfer products within the internal manufacturing network or help start up new manufacturing facilities.
- Execute technical projects to enhance supply posture, such as increasing yields or shortening cycle times.
- Support the design, construction, or renovation of manufacturing plants, laboratories, and office facilities.
- Manage project phases from initial engineering drawings to facility start up.
- Work with teams to improve the reliability of equipment and facilities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an associate, bachelor's, or master's degree program in Chemical, Biochemical, Biomedical, Biological, Computer, Electrical, Packaging, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related science or manufacturing field.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with project management.
- Preferred qualifications include experience in pharmaceutical or biologics manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma, data analytics, and knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
