    About the role#

    The 2027 Operations Development Program Internship is a paid, 11-week summer program for undergraduate students. This internship focuses on building technical, operational, and leadership skills through hands-on contributions to AbbVie Operations. It serves as a pipeline for the full-time Operations Development Program, a three-year rotational program for future leaders.

    What you'll do#

    • Analyze data to support business objectives.
    • Support process improvement initiatives.
    • Prepare project updates for team review.
    • Collaborate with site and functional teams.
    • Present findings and recommendations to business stakeholders.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, or a related discipline.
    • Enrollment in a university for the semester following the internship.
    • Expected graduation within one year after completing the internship.
    • Demonstrated leadership through extracurricular activities or projects.
    • Strong critical thinking skills, including the ability to analyze information, evaluate alternatives, and make sound decisions.
    • Willingness to relocate, as this role is a pipeline to a rotational program that requires site mobility.
    • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
